Serge Joseph

Serge Joseph is a graduate of City College, City University of New York (Economics/Political Science, 1986, magna cum laude), and Cornell Law School, 1989. While at Cornell, Serge worked with Asher, Pavalon, Gittler & Greenfield, firm specializing in the representation of unions and employees in labor relations and employment law disputes. He has also worked in the General Practice law firm of Ginsberg, Katshoris & Fedrizzi. In 1991, Serge joined the Housing Unit staff of Bedford Stuyvesant Legal Services. While there, he represented tenants and tenants groups in summary court proceedings, DHCR administrative hearings and other forums. He has also conducted community training, participated as a consultant in major litigation, and prepared resource materials and updates of developments in Residential Real Estate Law.
